Listed below are directions to all GBWAA fields with the starting point at the Liberty Tunnels. There is also a link to view each map that takes you away from the GBWAA site. Baldwin High School Colewood Frank Glen Rosing Harrison Middle School Leland McAnnulty Elementary School McGowan Municipal Overlook Romanus Snyder Union Whitehall Elementary School Baldwin High School 4653 Clairton Boulevard Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4.5 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Go through this intersection, staying on Route 51 and get in to the left lane. The school will appear on your left. Look for the Baldwin High School Electronic Billboard. Make a left onto the school driveway. Turn left at the fork and then make the first right. At the stop sign, turn right into the parking lot. There are two fields. View map. top of page Colewood 5500 Overland Trail Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Make a right onto Brownsville Road. As you approach the next light, stay in the left lane and then make a left, staying on Brownsville Road. At the next light, stay in the right lane and proceed straight along Brownsville Road past Option Supply. As you pass a small shopping plaza on your left, look for an abandoned gas station on the right. Make the second right past the old gas station onto Overland Trail. Go all the way to the bottom of the hill and the fields will be on your left. Colewood 1 is closest to the parking lot. For Colewood 2, You can continue through the parking lot and park between the two fields. View map. top of page Frank Reece Drive Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 3 miles) toward Route 88. As you pass Route 88, bear right onto Provost Rd before the next traffic light. Proceed straight on Provost through the next light (GetGo convenience store on your right). Proceed up the hill and turn left onto Frank St. Bear right at crest of hill and continue past Schneider’s Dairy (on your left) and turn left onto Reece. Look for field sign on your left. Only street parking is available. Please be respectful to residents’ lawns and driveways. View map. top of page Glen Rosing Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 2.5 miles) to Maytide. Turn left onto Maytide. Go to the top of the hill and then turn right onto Brownsville Road. At the next light, turn left onto Sankey. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Churchview. Turn at first right Spencer Ave. Follow Spencer Ave. Until end and make right onto Custer Ave. Turn at first left Joseph St. Glen Rosing is one block down on your right. Alternate directions: Brownsville Rd. to Becks run road. Turn right at waterworks (Agnew road). Field is appox. Three blocks up at "y" on Agnew road and Joseph Street. Field will be directly in front of you. top of page Harrison Middle School 129 Windvale Drive Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Make a right onto Brownsville Road. As you approach the next light, stay in the right lane and then go straight through the light. You then will be on Baptist Road. Follow Baptist down the hill and through the next two traffic lights, staying on Baptist Road. Caste Village Shopping Center and Giant Eagle will on your right. As you climb the hill, turn left on the second street, Windvale Drive. Follow Windvale Drive through the stop sign, Harrison Middle School will be on your left. Looking at the school, the field is on the right. View map. top of page Leland and McGowan Fields Knoedler Road and Wolfe Drive Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 5 miles). You will pass Baldwin High School on your left. Continue on 51, and once you proceed straight through the light at the intersection of Streets Run Road (Eatn' Park on the right), you will come to a series of traffic lights. At the second light (just before the Exxon station), turn right onto Grace. Proceed up the hill (train underpass at top of hill). Blue signs will lead you to Leland Field Complex. Roads taken to field will be Grace, right onto Macassar, left onto Holdsworth, right onto Wolfe. Fields will be on your left on Wolfe. Looking at the fields from the parking lot, Leland is on the left (furthest from the community building) and McGowan is on the right. View map. top of page McAnnulty Elementary School 5151 McAnnulty Road Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Make a right onto Brownsville Road. As you approach the next light, stay in the left lane and then make a left, staying on Brownsville Road. Make a right onto Curry Road. Pass a small shopping center on your left. At the stop sign make a right onto McAnnulty Road. McAnnulty School will be on the left. The field is behind the school. View map. top of page Municipal and Romanus 3344 Churchview Avenue Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 2.5 miles) to Maytide. Turn left onto Maytide. Go to the top of the hill and then turn right onto Brownsville Road. At the next light, turn left onto Sankey. At the top of the hill, turn right onto Churchview. Follow Churchview to just past Baldwin Municipal Building (3344 Churchview Ave.). Turn right onto Romanus Dr. Municipal is the big field on the right and big Romanus is on the left beyond a smaller field (little Romanus). View map. top of page Overlook Fieldcrest Drive (entrance just beyond the intersection with Spring Valley Drive) Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles). At the top of the hill, make a right onto Brownville Rd (PNC Bank on left and UBA Building on right). As you approach the first light on Brownsville, stay in right lane and proceed onto Baptist Rd. Proceed downhill on Baptist and remain in right lane at first light and then turn right onto Grove Rd just past BP/Amoco. Make a left at first stop sign onto Spring Valley and immediately make another left onto Fieldcrest. Look for brown field sign and entrance for Overlook Field about 500 feet on your right. Street parking is available and the field entrance is up the walkway near the field sign. View map. top of page Snyder Southvue Drive and Meadow Park Drive Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4.5 miles). You will pass Baldwin High School on your left. Turn right at the next light onto Borough Park Drive (Great American Federal and Benson Lincoln Mercury are on your right). Proceed up the hill past the Borough Building and continue on Borough Park Drive by making a right just pass the Borough Building. At the stop sign make a right onto Southvue. Snyder Field is approximately 500 feet on your left. Limited parking is available in the lot but street parking is an alternative. View map. top of page Union 4701 Baptist Road Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Make a right onto Brownsville Road. As you approach the next light, stay in the right lane and then go straight through the light. You then will be on Baptist Road. As you head down the hill, Union Field will be on your left behind the Manor Building. Turn left into the parking lot just past the building near brown sign for field. You will see the field behind the building. View map. top of page Whitehall Elementary School 4900 Curry Road Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) past Route 88. Make slight right onto Fairhaven Rd. Fairhaven Road will turn into Provost Road and you go straight through the next light, passing a Crossroads on your left. Go straight through the next light as Provost Road will become Brownsville Road. Turn left onto Curry Road. Look for a parking lot on your right with the field above. If you reach Whitehall School, you've gone too far. Whitehall elementary driveway is across from stop sign at end of Short Street. View map.
