Baldwin Travel Baseball is made up of players from GBWAA that compete in tournaments throughout the year. There is a financial commitment for uniforms, equipment and tournament fees. The travel program provides opportunity to gain more competitive experiences than that of the recreational league. Baldwin Travel Baseball is a tryout based program.
Tryouts dates/ times:
*All 7u players will complete winter workouts then tryout in the Spring of 2023*
8u/10u- August, 17th at Leland Park
9u/11u- August 18th at Leland Park
12u/13u- August 19th at Leland Park
*Make-up date for all divisions August 23rd.
Travel requirements:
-All players MUST register for Spring 'in house' baseball
-Players should wear a dark, plain shirt to tryouts
-Players should prepare to arrive 15 minutes early and warm up in the designated area.
-Once signed in, parents and siblings are asked to leave the immediate field area to avoid any distraction.
-Players are to wear cleats or spikes.
-Please bring all necessary equipment including gloves, bats, helmets, etc.

What to expect?:
-A full winter workout program.
-Teams will have the opportunity to play Fall 2022 and Spring/ Summer 2023 tournaments. It will be up to each age division whether they play local or pursue opportunities outside of the area.
-We will still participate in community travel tournaments, however, will also provide opportunities for travel trips such as Hershey, Ripken, SportsForce, Cooperstown, etc.
-Cost? This will vary drastically depending on what each team chooses to pursue and the age division. Parents should expect to spend around $250 for the season. That being said, fundraising is available for all teams.
